Intermitted Fasting Day 8

Today was interesting in a disappointing sort of way. The intermitted fasting has so for not equalled fast weight loss at but weight gain. Tomorrow is the 3rd actual fast on the diet and a rest day.

What surprise me today was a weigh in at 204 and how quickly I tired out from my workout. All things considered I think there may be other circumstances at work here and I am curious to see how the next couple of days play out.

I will be making a diet modification to my eating days and cutting out sweets. I am not going to cut out other not so weight loss friendly foods, like bagels, just yet. I think sweets could make a big difference.

I have also started taking creatine, which of course adds weight, but considering that I am not doing a heavy lifting routine I am not convinced that the creatine is the culprit in the weight gain. I think it may be more related to my overall inactivity at work and my eating on eat days. I guess I need to clean it up.

As for my workout. I did a workout that I had done a few days prior and finished easily before. This time I really hit the wall and not only felt weak but I was quickly exhausted. This could have been used to the abnormally warm weight room, residual weakness from my previous workout, or from the fast I did 2 days ago. Not sure which but I will try to test and get a better idea.

I normally take a protein supplement which I have currently run out of, so I am using chocolate milk instead. Milk has a lot of calories and carbs and does not have the same amount of protein.

There are certainly things I can do to clean here, so I will start testing the variables and trying to figure out where the real culprit lies. I am still very interested to see what I weigh in at tomorrow based on the weight gain of the previous couple of days.

I must day that while eating my last meal for a day I was a little sad and nostalgic. It is amazing how emotionally attached to food we are.
